Speaking time!

First lessons with my fourth year students today! And guess what! I did a speaking exercise! I hope the students liked it as much as I did.
The students had to write down 2 questions they wanted to ask me. Of course it had to be correct questions ... revision they call it. Then in groups they had to think about how I would answer that question. So they had to talk English and show how well they know their teacher! Apparently not that good, but they gave it a good try! I hope they liked it too and found out a bit more about me. For all the teachers: I found they idea on teachingenglish.co.uk and I can recommend it!

Last holiday weekend!

One more weekend ... Back to work on Monday! It has been an amazing summer and I can't wait to make plans for the next summer! I hope I can see a lot of visitors on my blog from all around the world! Lazy Sunday afternoon!

What do you have to do on a lazy afternoon, wondering whether it's going to be safe to go outside or if you will end up in a thunderstorm if you decide to ... I've finished another small project for my students how they can create their own website. They will have to build one about their school so you can learn about how we teach in the Netherlands and how school works and maybe you can find similarities or differences!
